CIS benchmarks and profiles¶
CIS benchmarks are security configuration recommendations developed for Ubuntu Linux.
The levels are different set of recommendations depending on the security requirements of the environment, see CIS FAQ to learn what each level represents.
We provide Level 1 and Level 2 configuration proviles for Ubuntu.

Install CIS profiles¶
If you want to use profiles from Canonical for auditing your system, install them first:
sudo apt install usg-benchmarks-1
