New features & improvements¶
The LXD charm in Anbox Cloud can be configured to use Ceph storage in addition to the default local storage options. This helps deployments that require shared storage, improved scalability and better resource utilization.
Android security updates for December 2025 (see Android Security Bulletin - December 2025).
The Android WebView has been updated to 143.0.7499.52.

We assessed the following CVEs from the 2025-12-05 Android Security Bulletin patch for their severity and impact on how Anbox Cloud works, but they are not included in this release because our focus for this release is including CVEs with a ‘critical’ severity.

Bug fixes¶
LP 2127155 Streaming an Android 15 instance gets disrupted unexpectedly with the instance in an error state. You might see an Android runtime error with a message similar to
Abort message: 'trackInputEvent: device 'anbox-pointer' received invalid EV_ABS event code: ABS_X value: 359.LP 2130609 AMS instance metrics are incorrect for the number of containers per node.
LP 2131645 When configuring the Anbox Application Registry (AAR), after an update to an application-level field in the app metadata, the application metadata remains outdated even after the updated application is pushed to the registry by the publisher.
LP 2123735 Instance name is not validated before download the corresponding image.
